Rainn is the co-founder of the digital media company SoulPancake and also Co-Founded the educational non-profit Lide Haiti, along with his wife, author Holiday Reinhorn and some Haitian friends. Lide educates hundreds of some of the poorest girls in Haiti and provides tutoring and scholarships as well.

Rainn co-wrote the New York Times bestselling SOULPANCAKE: Chew on Life’s Big Questions as well as his comedic memoir, The Bassoon King: My Life in Art, Faith and Idiocy. His newest book is Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution and he is the host of the Soul Boom Podcast
