    I am an alcoholic.
    I am 53 days sober.
I bought two of Catherine’s books, and I am pretty darn sure she wrote them for me and about me. I fell into the biggest hole I could find and lived there for years with my alcohol and drinking friends. I hadn’t realized the damage my drinking was causing to my family and friends. When I finally confessed my shame, no one said “finally” she’s come out and admitted it. I hid it so well no one knew. Only me.
Thank you for writing your story, it has truly inspired me to be a sober mother, daughter, sister and friend.
