I am appalled; she took some of the basics of several recovery programs, mashed them up, is updating them for the current times, and capitalizing on the lockdowns to set up a program with membership fees?! The only requirement to recovery programs is a desire to stop whatever dysfunctional behavior, not paying membership dues. Do people know they can simply do a google search for meetings and find a meeting that works for them to be a part of a fellowship. They don’t need to pay $15/month etc. to find a fellowship. I’m utterly appalled! The main quote on her Luckiest website is the opposite of addiction is connection; on the podcast she mentioned the importance of fellowship. People don’t need to find fellowship in her capitalistic program, it keeps the people who don’t have the money out! I don’t really comment, but I had to here. I came on the website after listening to the podcast, thinking I’d join the community, but saw that I had to sign up for a membership, ugh, yuck!
